Hey all, got out of work today and what do i find my door handle jammed up(the whole thing) and my lock destroyed. Thank god the little bastards didn't even get into the car but it is going to be a pain in the arse to replace/fix. If i came accross them i swear i would rip off there nuts and make them watch me grind them into mince meat.

Now i have that off my chest is there any place in adelaide that would be a start to look for new one? price?post-15951-1159963160.jpg

Sorry to hear about it! You'd be surprised what a crash repairer could do with that .... I had my S15 fixed (had 50% the damage of yours) including respray door for $350. I would ask at Nissan dealers for the actual door handle and lock - should be easy to get (mine was fixable). Expect about $200 for handle and lock I would think.

Thanx guys, i will go see one of my dad's friends tomorrow before work see what he thinks at least you have given me a little hope that it might not be too bad. i'm also going to see if there is video on the carpark. i did find it funny that they hurt themselves in the process and left disgusting blood on my car.

^^^ I'm hearing ya, they touch ma car and i'll touch them! Also another reason to have a daily....... while my line is locked up under a car cover! working arvo shift in Plympton isn't the best place to be driving my car, espesially when i went out for 5 mins a few months back and noticed when i came back there was a car on fire down the end of the road!

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
