Hey all. Hope your having a good weekend.

Just wanted to know where (if) anyone has/can/knows where to get those black rubber plug type things to fill in holes left by removing the rear spoiler???

Wanna see if i like my gtr better without the rear wing, but dont wanna leave open holes there.

Have seen them a lot on Silvia's and 200 Sx's.

Also live near the joondalup area so anywhere local to that would be even better...

If you have bought some, how much do they normally cost???

Cheers, any help would be great.

I got mine from coventrys.. cost me like 6 bucks for 3 packets of different sizes.. but i work there so i get em a bit cheaper. Anyway it works good for now but I'd definately recommend getting it welded up as soon as you can.. water tends to sit under the grommets and im sure that it cant be real good for the sheet metal!

I went and got some grommets from auto one in clarkson today...

Job done...

Im liking the look without the rear wing but need to lower my rear end a bit for it to look better.

Just as a matter of interest, how much would it cost to have the holes welded and the boot resprayed??

Has anyone had it done, where if so???

Cheers again for the responses.

i just got mine done, couldnt tell you where as i got the guy who imported the car to get it donme for me. He got it done for $500, wing removed, holes welded. resprayed boot in 2 pack paint. I assume that MIGHT be a mates rate though, cos before i mentioned it to him i had a quote from the spoiler shop and they said around $800 for the same job. I suggest shopping around.

    • I mean, the 240i is not a Supra... make it drop a few hundred kg, have a sportscar chassis, clearance for wheels etc... Maybe I want a hardtop Z40i XDrive or something :p I do agree with you though and have long said the B58 Supra/240i/340i/440i is the new R Chassis/JDM90's turbo rocket for mod lovers to ... not always appreciative response lol. Doesn't make it not true though.
    • I will do the build myself but I will be paying for the tune because I don't know how much about that and would rather it be done right and by a professional
    • Will you build and tune it yourself or do you need to pay for labour?
    • Mechanically that's essentially what the M240i is, it's just not pretending it's not a BMW
