Maybe we should actually set a car up to be flogged with a tracking system & see where they actually take the thing to. Then when they get to the destination the real party starts with a 000 call......

Yeh and the 000 call will be them after we go at them with fists of glory!

I hate it when they smash a window and steal a hole load of crap all and you gotta fork out for the window because it's not worth more than the excess on the insurance!

I was going to go that far, but decided to restrain myself. Fists of glory would only be the begining for those MOFO in the idea world

Love that security system Madaz, I want one

Mum found this in our local messenger " A panorama man tried to chase a thief who stole his car from his driveway on daniels st on thursday, october 5 at about 4.30. The driver did a u-turn and drove back towards the victim, who was forced to hide behind a tree. The driver then left the scene. Police are still looking for the stolen Nissan Skyline sedan."

How scary is that

That was a friend of mine......... It was a white auto 4 door R32, there was another 4 door 32 gts4 and a laurel in the driveway too, his was obviously the first one!

^^ The is the reason guns should be legalised in this country. I bet if the situation was reversed and theif got run over by the owner, it'd be the owner in jail/charged.
bad luck, sincerely.

BTW - you cant assult a thief, as then you end up in more serious charges.

sorry i have to dissagree about the guns thing

i can't be stuffed going through my law books but i'm pretty sure there are home owners rights in our legal system! you are allowed to defend yourselves if danger is opposed to you! but chasing after the thief and assualting them when you weren't under any threat! well it's plain and simple assualt and puts you on the same level as the thief!

and yeah i don't agree with legalising guns! if you can get one so can the thief!

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
