Tein Super Street "groaning"

Hi all, my Tein Super Street (about a month old) produces some "groaning" sound upon going over sleeping policemens (road bumps).

It's really irritating!

Any idea why is it so? And anything I can do to rid of it?

spray your springs with WD40!! DO IT!!

Had the same thing...did the above...and noise gone!

also neutralise the bushes.

ie: loosed the suspension bush nuts,bolts so the bush is in a relaxed state at your curent ride height

Could you describe in more detail how thts done? Makes sense too...

Mine has started to make a slight spring creaking/squeak noise over harsh bumps, usually over speed bumps and when reversing out of my drive way.

It sounds like a creaking squeak, WD40 trick?

woahhhh...thts awesome dude but a bit overkill jst to fix a groan??? I doubt fulcrum would go to those lengths to fix a noise but good on the guys in m'sia! Let us know if it comes back and if it does it might mean something else is the problem. Out of curiousity, did they do all that while you waited?? mines got a similar thing happening, a bit annoying when the stereo's off.

On another note, I reckon T04GTR's post does make sense too but still to hear from him on how its done...for us suspension noobs

Yea a bit overkill. I got really worried too when they took apart the whole thing.

Yup, waited while they did it. Took them like perhaps 2 hours plus.

But it was ok as I like to be around my car when someone work around it. I like to watch and ensure she is treated like a queen.

WD40 trick worked for me, and hasnt returned in 2 weeks (yet)
