Quote from the UAS site:

"R33 GTS-T as featured in Dec Jan Street Heat Mag has high flow turbo full 3 inch exhaust with our Marco muffler nice note but quiet, Apexi Fuel and Ignition Controllers, 02 Rush Ram Pod, Uniglide and is a real 163kw at the wheels on Dyno running 12pounds boost."

Now, DONT GET ME WRONG HERE - I AM NOT DISSING UAS!!!!

But, doesn't that power output seem a bit low? I mean, its got high flowed turbo and a few other goodies and its making the same power as my car at 9psi, when it is running 12psi? and i dont have a high flowed turbo, or ignition controllers...

My car has 3 1/4" to 3 1/2" exhaust with a high flow cat. 9psi, large front mount I/C, and some other bits and pieces (including iridium plugs) and i made 162rwkw...

anyone else think this is a bit low?

Christian.

Did it say if it had a fmic or HiFlo Cat?

I only get 152kw at 0.6 bar (just under 9psi)

But I dont think it was dyno tuned properly, my car is an

auto and they tuned it with o/d off, so its like tunin a 5sp

manual in only 4th gear.

My mods are Cat Back, Apexi Power Intake, Turbosmart Boost Cont, Apexi SAFC. Still runnin stock IC. I wonder is a fmic and hiflo cat will give me that extra 10kw ...

But I still tink its bec it was tuned with o/d off thoe ...

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
