The Razo gear knob I bought a few years back had circular grey plastic inserts of various sizes. There was no thread on them, but it turns out that I was supposed to choose the appropriate size insert and then"screw" the knob down - effectively creating the thread inside the plastic. (softish plastic) It was some kinda - one size will fit all approach...

Maybe your's is something similar?

yeh, what u do is choose the 10mm or 12mm.. cant remember, just test it on the knob.. one will be just a bit too small to slide on.. use that... then u put it in the gear knob, screw it in at the end, then just put on your stick and keep turning till shes tight..

easy as :P

if u want, i could look for my original razo instructions.. but its pretty easy.

Well, in my gearknob it has a few rubber inserts that I can choose to fit on the gearstick, then push in the knob and uses three allen screws to hold it into position.

I ended up drilling a bit into the gearstick shaft when tightening the sharp ended nuts, but good thing is they stop the gearknob from moving up/down or twisting. My bro screw it onto the rubber, which does not do any damage to the stick, but now after a few months his gearknob is a little bit loose again.
