Sean'O

no worries,

i will update the first post accordingly as payments clear

PM sent Reggie

cheers for your promptness guys - hopefully they'll be able to get these sent to us before x-mas, at the moment its all dependent on coby. will advise accordingly

Hey Guys,

Sent a email to Coby, and they said that their 12 Month warranty will still apply.

Eug, Payment and PM sent.

Edited by Traditimeour

ok guys - payment all recieved.

still waiting on a few delivery addresses.

I will PM each of you with what I will be emailing to partsco... this is your last chance to confirm or make any changes to delivery address, extra parts and so forth.

Cheers

Eug

alright guys - just a quick update.

finalized all the delivery addresses, and got all of you to confirm the order and details

partsco are setting up an account for me to deposit internationally (don't know why they didn't have one already).

so i will be making the payment within the next few days if they can provide me with all the details.

funds will take 5-7days to clear, and after that its outta my hands.

will keep you guys posted.

  • 2 weeks later...

alright dudes and dudettes, just to keep you in the loop.

Specrzx: your non-hpc coated extractors have been received by partsco and are on their way, please keep an eye out.

the rest of us: they are still at the hpc coaters, its taking a bit of time, since the extractors come from coby, to partsco, then to get the outlets modified, then to the hpc coaters, then back to partsco, etc etc... i will keep you guys posted.

cheers for your patience.

*i've arranged for varying outlet sizes, you can have 2", 2.25" or 2.5" (please specify which one you want)

hi there mate.. I'm pretty interested.. but I just need to know how do I find out whether I need 2" 2.5" or 2.25"?

thanks

sorry buddy - you've missed out. this group buy is now closed.

you can get in contact with them yourselves... when ours come through i may try to enquire for you to see if they'll allow a "last minute" buy. i wouldn't count on it.

to answer your question, it all depends on what you want. if you already have a cat back or not? and what size system you want to run.

specrx: they've screwed up your order - a replacement is being organized. so sorry, its totally out of my hands.

i called them yesterday afternoon and had a very stern talk with charlie.

she assured me that she is getting it all sorted and sent me an email the next day.

at this stage i am quite unhappy with her efforts, i am also waiting on my set of extractors so i am just as eager as you guys.

Hi Eugene

Sorry for the slow delivery times. 5 HPC coated extractors were delivered to our place this morning and we dispatched immediately. BUT, we found that there was a problem with the non-HPC coated one as it was the wrong diameter. I’ll have to sort it out with my guy on Monday but he should be able to get one to me that day and I’ll dispatch immediately.

Understandable that folks are getting scratchy. Hopefully they will be there in time for Xmas.

Charlie Saunders

hpc coated: sent last thursday/friday - expected delivery mid next week or beginning of week after.

non-hpc coated: sent tuesday - expected delivery, end of this week early next week.

as you all know there is obviously the christmas rush, i don't know by how much that will effect things but just keep that in mind. i'm itching to get these babies onto the car.

keep an eye out guys

    • Hi guys . Can someone help me  I bought an Android screen for my Nissan fuga but it won't turn on
    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
