I just got this car registered about 2 weeks ago but unfortunately I have to sell it as I have purchased a house - I was expecting to keep this Aristo for quite a while but the house costs are climbing higher than expected, so unfortunately I have to let it go now.

This car is my favorite of all the cars I have owned, it's so nice to drive and very quick as well - you can't appreciate these unless you experience them yourself.

1993 Toyota Aristo 3.0V

Opal white pearl

3000cc twin turbo

118,000 kms (genuine)

2 way automatic transmission

18" ZEIT alloy wheels

Power adjustable front seats

Power adjustable steering column

Climate control air conditioning

Central door locking

Power steering

Power windows

Traction control

ABS brakes

7 speaker stereo with subwoofer

Please click here check out the photos and other details on ebay - call and ask for Craig on 0400 502 250 if you have any questions or want to arrange a time to view the car.

This car been fitted with new genuine Lexus badges front and rear since the photos were taken, it also has an Sanyo 10 disk CD stacker, remote engine starter and turbo timer.

The car is in very clean condition all round and drives very well, in any case I am happy to show it to anyone in Melbourne who is interested and I can send photos, etc. to buyers in other states if required. This car has been listed on ebay and the listing ends soon so please be quick if you are interested.

Although the Aristo seems to be worth more I am only looking for $15,750 or near offers for this car with almost a full 12 months registratrion, however it's listed at ebay from $13,000 with no reserve because that about what it owes me, so there is a chance to get it cheaper too.

I just want to stress the point that this car is ALREADY LANDED in Australia, it has been COMPLIED and it fully REGISTERED already - also please note that this is my own personal vehicle and I am selling it privately.

The asking price has been lowered to $15,000 or near offer - it's easily worth this price however I will accept lower offers if it's not sold soon.

I will make the car available to view this weekend and most nights next week, so please call if you are seriously interested so we can arrange a time.

  • 2 weeks later...

I have had offers around $14,500 but not from anyone with money ready to buy now, I was ready to accept this price so I have lowered the asking price again - anyone interested can call me on 0414 502 250 or submit an offer through ebay if preferred.

    • Hi GTSBoy, Excuse my ignorance but what does a "Bad" Knee point mean ?
    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
