Steal Intercooler Piping?

Hey all,

Well, its been over 11 months since i last drove my R32 GTR. Its been getting an engine rebuild done (i know... 11 months - what a joke! ) but the time has come... It starts fine, runs fine, drives fine, but when it makes boost, the intetrcooler piping blows off. My mates that work at the shop have driven it a few times and all them times of driving it, the piping has blowen off.

Now the problem is, they say cause its happend so many times now the piping has split. Not alot, just a litle bit, but its right on the passanger side of the cooler.

Thats the explanation of my problem... Here is my problem. I NEED steal piping!!! And i have no idear where i can buy the stuff right here-right now. I don't wanna have to click around on sites and order it, wait for the payment to go through, and then wait for it to come over seas of interstate. I want it now!!!!!!!!!

So like the very top part says, where can I get reliable, good for 400+RWKW, and easy to fit steal intercooler piping for an R32 GTR ??????

I dont care where it is, so long as its in VICTORIA. (preferably SE Melbourne )

Dont steal piping

Pm Just Jap on this forum - They have polished alloy hard pipe kits for GTR's now with silicon joiners and clamps for $399.

Also in future, check that your piping hose clamps are tightly fastened - If they continue you blow off, go for some heavy duty pirtek style clamps

its probably not your piping. sounds more like your clamps are rooted. get some super clamps, it should stop them from blowing off.

Just to backup what Nisks said

The clamps are the most important part - go way overboard on them, they're not very much to buy and they save you a LOT of concern when you launch and a pipe blows off cause of a cheap clamp

Nick i cant find the $399 kit, is that an SAU only price? Ill be needing a set
