I want your brain

No you don't. Trust me... LOL

I can't be too smart, I finally finish school, and lock myself in for a minimum of 4 years at uni, and most likely going for 7. I SOOO should have taken a year off!

As for studying. I'm meant to be studying for my uni maths right now... but I can't be arsed...

Meh, I might go mow the lawn... Some time soon I will anyway.

Na you'll be sweet the SC is a breeze, you really dont' have to study or anything i walked in on a year of stuffing around and got in the 80% for all subjects, it's piss easy man all my mates went good as well. Just think though, if you plan to stay on at high school then your SC isnt' worth the paper it's printed on, once you get your HSC (assuming you stay on) the SC is useless.

How did you guys find maths yesterday???

I thought it was a pretty fair test, but how shitty was question 28 (the last one) =/

Bahahaha... SC... ROFL

I shitted around ALL of yr 7-10.

Walked out with two Band6, two band 4, and a band 3 (The band 3 was 1% off a band 4) ROFL...

I suck MAJORLY at english, and I was like, so hating it, and I still managed to pull out and basically beat nearly EVERYONE in my school at english... ROFL...

Oh, and I didn't study for it either.

SC is piss easy.

HSC that one needs a little bit of study to do well in.

My uni exam, that I have on friday, if I don't get off here I WILL fail...

If you ever get a negative in a loan repayment, just slip another negative in somewhere to make it right... ROFL...

Man, so glad my uni maths exam is now over! Fudged a few questions up, made a few marks up elsewhere... Here's hoping I pass this course...

I finish on the 10th...lol all my mates are all done, I still got IT and art to go... man if I get into this graphics course, only 65 my dads getting me an r34 gt25.. but I missed 2 exams due to being in hospital, English and ancient history, I did maths, think I got around 75-80 in that, and for it and art im predicting around 75-80 also due to the amount of study ive done, and my trial results for those wernt to bad, 75 each.. my trials for the exams I missed suckkked though both 54, rank 47/118 for English, and 8/9 for ancient (keep in mind those other 7 guys are top 7 in the year like for all other subjects)... what do u guys think my chances are of pulling a 65-70 with these marks.. :O

English standard: trial 54 (assessments are better)

Ancient hist:54 (assessments alot better) :D:D

Maths Gen: 75 (guess for HSC mark)

IT: 80 (guess for HSC mark)

Art: 75 (guess for HSC mark)

lol pllzzzzzz tell me SAM (uai estimator) is not accurate. predicted 54

:):(

You can't extimate your UAI.

With the marks I got in the SC, I got a 79, I looked it up, using the exact same marks, if I'd done the HSC 3 years earlier, I'd have had a 95+ UAI.

Each year, the marks sway differently. The UAI is worked out, on a whole of how you went, compared to everyone else.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
