lol my head really hurts and i dont want to go to work  lol i went out to diner at some really nice restraunt and get ordering cocktails.

but hell i got some good crap.

rego is paid, tint on my car is paid, new numberplates (000 dnk still) paid. and bloody insurance ^^ i think i did well this year

u certainly scored there.

yeh it means drunk. it was my dad but he bought personlised plates saying gts 341 for his holden gts.

so i decided to take them on board, plus every mechanic knows my car now as petes daughter due to them.

my parents would not have been contacted at my accident if the tow truck driver (rest his soul) had not recognized them and got onto the phone to my dad. but then again if a 4wd motehr had been watching were she was going she would not of him me :D

13th of febuary, i was driving my first car...94 4door ( i have a thing for 4 doors) mitsubishi lancer. completely written off. got the third party insurance paid out in 3 days. 2 weeks later i bought a skyline :( while it may have been the best way to get money for my car. accidents are not a good thing, i lost my karate teaching job from it and have put on weight from not being able to exercise due to my back still being painful and restricted in how i move. at least my physio had fired her receptionist and gave me a trial, which turned into a job.

argh thats no good about ya accident, but on the up and up, it opened up other opportunities for ya with a new job and a new car. things will get better over time with ya health aswell.

Hey,

I am new to the skyline world and wanted to see if there was any cruises/events happening on the sunny coast. Looking to meet up with fellow skyline drivers.

BTW - I drive a non-turbo automatic R31....It it really quick. think around 65kw's....Just blown my turbo's though...running way to much boost..(2psi)...Hmm.. oh well, rebuild time. Hoping brad could help me out with my mods...anyone have an ebay link???

Hoping to meet 000DNK - seems hot. Guess any chick with a skyline is sexy... "sorry Michelle, but sit this one out". - jk...Michelle is great :D "HUGS"

Hope to see you round...but don't think that will happen as your not on the coast anymore???

What type of 34 did you buy chris just to silence a few rumours..

Clubbing any where on the Sunny Coast is f**ked, well compaired to brissy and the gold coast. I just go down to brissy every couple of weeks to head out, helps if you know someone so you can stay at there's so it is really cheap.

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
