wtf???

man wat the hell is wrong with you? its idiots like you that caused the laws to come into existance. did you not understand wat MBS206 said? how do you not understand that its only a matter of time before you'll be at the wheel of a car that takes a life? especially if u drive like u say u do... fu(k man i know its tempting when you have power under your right foot but there are plenty of people with cars more powerful than you have ever seen. and most of them have earned those cars and have developed restraint.

im on my p's too and yeah i drive a gtst. im in love wit the car but im not foolish enough to race on the streets. ill save it for the track. and if i cant afford it ill save till i can

grow up boys

Mate you are a retard!

SR20DET is lifeless, comes onto boost for half a second... get a magna they'll do a burnout on the move in first the power is always on tap like a f**king freight train

GTRs are f**king shit big ass heavy cars, what do you guys think awd = handling get real... road whales more like it

Daddy gave you 20G's for your skyline and you think your a big man and then talk shit to people with lesser cars but then cant hold a flame to a real sports car like a ferrari or lambo which own that shit like on lockdown son

I ONLY go hard really late at night on open empty roads. Why? because I am not a rich kid who can afford $250 for a raceday... Half of the fools in this thread PLEASE gimme the chance to show how poor a driver you guys are. Any place any time. (free race no way am I paying to go on a race track)

Lifeless, half a second... Don't know what you were driving, but my mates hits boost at 1900RPM and redlines out at 7000RPM. That's spending longer on boost then my RB motor.

As for rolling burnouts... I can pop a rolling burnout in 3rd gear at 100km/h. Lets see your magna do that!

You so should have just been a stain on the sheet after your dad had a wank. Idiot!

And mate, I'm 19, I have my Ps, I OWN my 1994 R33 GTS-t MYSELF. I also own my 94 VR Acclaim Commodore. I also own my Nissan Navara 1988 Ute. My parents have NEVER given me a car. My family has a beleif, if you are given it, you will not appreciate it. And as you have shown, you have been given family cars, and you have flogged the SHIT out of them. My mate gave me his R33 Keys, and it NEVER went any where NEAR boost, even when he told me to give it a little hit.

Late at night hey. That's all fine, EXCEPT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DRIVE LATE AT NIGHT!

And mate, racing has been in my family for a while. I HAVE to PAY MYSELF each time I step near the track. If I write my car off at the race track, I have to pay to tow it home. My father won't even come to pick me up.

Racing, on the street, is STUPID. Utterly, utterly stupid.

Just have a look on the SMH, at all the people, LATE AT NIGHT, who wrapped cars around telegraph poles, killing themselves, killing there passengers, and killing INNOCENT bystanders.

Also, you can't jump straight in a car, and know exactly how it's going to handle.

One R33 you might jump into, feel identical to another, but you accelerate mid corner in one of them, and it'll 180 on you. Do it in the other R33, and it'll go straight ahead! And you WON'T know, what it's going to do, until it does it. When you're pushing the limits, crossing to the wrong side of the road, running into someones Mother, Father, Daughter, Son, Grand Child, Friend. That's when you know what that car will do, when it's too late on the road.

Take it on the track, the worst thing that you can hit, a tyre wall, or a sandtrap.

Motor racing is dangerous. Even in a specialistically setup conditions on the road, it will kill. Take a look at the late Peter Brock. One of THE greatest drivers to ever live, and his life was taken, on a public road, in "race" type driving.

Don't say it won't happen to you! I just pray, when it does, you just find a tree/telegraph pole, and NOONE is around to be injured bar you. I'm sorry, but I truly beleive your mother should have swallowed!

Evil-Weevil: unfortunately, the police couldn't charge him with much, as they legally couldn't give a speed estimate, due to the fact the wanker was still accelerating AFTER hitting 2 parked cars (Side swipe) and collecting my father on the wrong side of the road. He thought he was Mark Skaife, he got proved wrong.

So hence, he got let off with a few fines and charges, and ALOT of court fees.

Ok everyone it's time to calm down.

Viper and El knob head have been temporarily banned for 2 and 7 days respectively.

This is the pm I just sent Viper:

I've disabled your ability to post for 2 days.

This is because you are very wrong about being allowed to do what ever you want on the roads. It's usually other people who die, not the driver. Look at those kids up the coast last week. 4 kids dead, 1 survived - the driver.

I think SAU has been invaded by trolls.

*watches Abo Bob slap trolls back into their cave*

there... better

Seriously though, this is a subject close to many people. Having been involved in a serious car accident when I was younger, comments like those made by the 2 banee's hit a nerve.

If they do what they say they do, i don't think me telling them how stupid they are will change their behaviour, rather I just hope that when (not if) they lose it, they don't hurt themselves too bad and don't touch anyone else, but their mum's cars get absolutely totalled so they can see what could have happened to them (and have their mum's tell them thay were bad boys)

I think this would put them in the "i used to be like you, but i've seen the light" segment of the community.

Anyway, it's too early for this shit, and the fact that di(kheads that joined "yesterday" are stepping on people's toes and getting reactions is upsetting.

I think everyone had a bad weekend.

awesome thread lol

those two are asses, no doubt about that. please someone read them part 3 of the getting-your-black-license ahndbook from the rta, that should give them an idea.. tos*ers

i think these guys live near me, as despite the rain today im listening to two coughing engines in cars doing burnouts at the park. I drive a modified gtst, have for almost a year. i have been driving for four, and used to cover 1000km+ a week through working as a labourer all over sydney, in heavy peak hour traffic and none, in rain, hail and shine. First car i owned was an ea falcon (about as quick as a magna lol) and covered 120 000km in that, before several other cars before the skyline. I do not touch boost unless i have to pass someone, or have just turned on the m5.

you never need to floor it enough to hit boost on a public road. EVER. So why would a p plater with no desire for driving racetrack s ever want a turbo.

Because you are a poser

there are plenty of ways to kill yourself without adding extra power. all it takes is one kid, one dog, one other car...A shadow on the road from a bird is enough to cause you to react and wrap around a tree. If your not expecting it, you will die.

If your about to say your a great driver and handle everything that comes your way, why would you speed in a residential zone, esp. at night, when you cant see anything coming unless its in your headlights. it takes time to react and time to put brakes on/swerve etc and even at 60km/h, it takes about 50m to stop.

please remember you are driving older cars so distances may be longer again.

just be careful, you will crash and you will get hurt or injure someone, its just a matter of time, which ive waasted enough of on you. cya

p.s. dont die near me

Gad dang street racers..

*shrug*

I jumped straight into a turbo rx7 as my first car at 16 and have driven many fast cars.. (modded gtrs, s13s, gtsts, etc) so I guess I don't feel the pain of these kiddies being locked down away from turbos.. that said judging from these past posts its probrably a good thing lol

I would like to quote myself again.

For Public safety Im happy to offer a $50 track day discount to the two Newbie clowns who think its safe to drive fast on the same roads my pregnant wife and 2yr old son drive on.

Please, when you are ready to do 100-200Km flat out all day and not kill anyone, and to learn that the streets are not the place to speed, send me a PM.

    • For these last 7 years of ownership, I've always had to use a small scissor jack under one of the front tow hooks to raise the front just enough so my low-profile jack fits under to reach my subframe jack point. I'm beginning to get annoyed of always having to do this. Are there any lower low-profile jacks that fit under the gtr lip on a dropped car?
    • Seat of the pants assessment of the new intake: The car is way less "doughy" when hitting the loud pedal, especially off idle when stopped or in traffic, I did use a cheapo lazer thermal thingo to measure the temp around where the pod filter got its air, it was between 55 - 60°C, in saying this the car was shut off and not moving, so the OEM intake pipe was not supplying any fresh air to where the pod was when the car was at least moving A weird bonus was induction noise on the throttle in the cabin increased a bit,  I was worried that I was actually going to lose some of that induction noise I love so much, outside though, when I got the daughter to do a WOT drive by pass for me, the induction noise has increased alot when on the throttle, not quite ITB doort, but well up there I'm extremely happy with the results and have been exploring the country roads in the region  As for house mods: 1.New front fence is up and is awesome, it really upgraded how the joint looks from the street, and the added security is nice 2. Electricians have replace some interior lights, and with more lighting in the garage, a few new motion detecting lights out the front above the garage, front room, and at the front door, which I have already found heaps helpful coming and going, also now has fancy pants CCTV all round the house The only hold point for power though is the solar and batteries due to supply issues, although this will happen over the next few weeks 3. I have done a heap of landscaping out the front and I'm almost ready to do a new small retaining wall with some nice blocks to replace the brick and cemented in rocks around the raised garden beds cemented in river stone "was the fashion at the time" the house was built. I currently have a pallet of retaining wall blocks and 2 bulka bags of 20mm blue metal to replace the wood chip that is in the raised garden beds around the house 4. I now have 3 big raised garden beds for out the back to grow some vegetables, about 70cm high, 200cm long and 100cm wide 5. My 2 compost bins are already pretty full with brown, green and kitchen waste from the landscaping I'vedone so far, but they will probably take a few months to break down, so anything else that gets chopped, trimmed, and kitchen waste will just start filling the base of the raised garden beds to about 30cm before I start throwing 40cm of good compost, and stuff, for the vegetables to grow in, I'll need a few ton of compost and soil, but the local supplier can sent me bulka bags of the stuff Basically the logs, wood chips and a few strategically placed rocks for drainage, will give the beds some good organic materials down low to break down over time, and they will hold moisture during the warmer months to save the water in my big arse water tank if we don't get alot of rain So, all in all, the car and house mods are going well, and I'm really enjoying being retired, I sleep in too 0700 and slowly plod around inside until I feel like actually doing anything, and only work in the yard for as long as want, which has actually been alot over the last few weeks,  although when you look at it, it seems that not a huge amount of work has been done,  until I look at the before I started the work pics Happy days and good times indeed
    • hahaha yeah. Plan is to get side skirts and probably just rear pods. But going to do them one-by-one. I've got a set that I really like from RHDJapen, but that one isn't shipped to AU. So need to find someone who can get it for me
    • Here's an idea, answer the questions I asked you as they are trying to work out WHY the LSD will be binding up in a straight line.
