I managed to get my intercooler behind my autech front bar with no chopping of the bumper or the bumper reinforcement. Off the top of my head, the measurements were 600*300*68 (maybe 60 or 70).

I had to move the horn bracket, and bend the aircon reciever bracket to make a little more room in there. I don't have a fan mounted on my aircon heatexchanger though, I don't know if it will fit now the intercooler is there.

I'll try get some photos.

Dang, I wish my car wernt away for the winter  ...My FMIC with the Stock front bar looks really good. Hella lot better than these ones. I did take the AC out though that helps alot for fitting a big IC under that stocker. I'll try to find some old pics maybe.

Ye air con made it a bit hard. Gonna pull it all out anyway cuz I dont really use it.

Has anyone pulled it out? How hard is it to de-gas etc?

yep of course i have!

dunno about gas, supposed to get someone to do it coz its really bad for atmosphere or something but i have known people to simply unscrew and let it out...

just unbolt the ac unit thing on side of engine.

unscrew and remove air con condensor (need to remove radiator)

and then just cable tie the loose lines afterwards.

very simple once you get started

I reckon wait another couple of weeks before you decide on removing that glorious aircon lol... If you do though just watch the pressure as it can piss all over you if your not careful!

haha nah i used it about twice last year. makes funky noises and leaks coolant out the motor so i think its time it went bye bye.

    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
