Hey Guys

I posted this in forced induction performance a few days ago and then realised for such a Perth-centric question, it was probably a dumb idea. Thanks Mr.Keets for your response though - I will certainly look into it.

I recently bought a SII R33 GTS25t and yeah, I'm loving it! But I'm starting to get used to it now and I want more!

I was wondering where you guys have gone to get your exhaust systems, what expereriences you've had (good/bad) and how much it set you back? As the subject says I'm after a 3" Turbo Back system, but as I'd like to build a sleeper, I'd like it to look reasonably stock and not be too loud. My aim (eventually) is to surprise the hell out of that feller with the blue and white R33 and LED tail lights in my bog standard looking crate.

Cheers guys

Iain

P.S. Blue and white R33 guy if you're part of the SAU crew; what have you got under there? It sounds... interesting :)

go to performance/exhaust workshops such as Briffa Engineering (top work), hyperdrive, evo-r, xspeed, ovaboost, or top racing...

i bought a dump second hand for 150 and got a catback ( *cough* no cat ) system welded up in mandrel bends and shit to a muffler

all in all my exhuast system i paid $430

Hey, thanks for that. I like your car btw. 324 rwkw, how'd you arrive at that? And from the little bit I can see in your sig, your rims look sweet too.

thats RWHP not rwkw, i was shocked @ reading 324rwkw aka 420rwhp by 3100rpm (thats nutz)

most places would do it for about a grand give or take 1 or 2 hundred

depending on brand also etc

but yeh most places that alpinestars mentioned are fairly well known

(did briffa engineering do your exhaust?)

Ha ha, yes mate you're quite right. I did sort of half wonder. My mate's 32R makes 300 kw at the wheels and he's pretty much reached the end of the road as far as mods go. So I was thinking shit, this guy drives the same car as me and is making more?! There must be something pretty special under there!

Not that 324 HP is anything to sneeze at!

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
