I like lowered cars but for me, that is a bit too low

Agreed.

Love to look - not to own.

you guys serious?

i dont know why more than 70% of 34 gtr owners are against lowering, and if "twisties" are your excuse pfft

R34 GTR's can run pretty aggressive. I know a person running 19x11 +6 F and +3 R, 275/30/19 all round but no scrubbing.

The car is low too!

Could be possible.

Would have to be rolled at the very least and a bit of camber.

Pics?

I'm running 19x10.5 +12 GT-Vs now for a change and have 15mm spacers on.

So thats an offset of about -3mm. I could theoretically run another half inch on the inside with this offset.

I want some 18x11 +5 or -5 and dial in :)

My cars not really what you call proper though. Slightly wider than real R34s.

what sort of width and offset would I need to run to fill the guards like on that blue 34 GTR ^^ up there, on my 34 GTT?

Sinno might be able to help you and other R34 GTT owners.

Sinno was running crazy offsets for a GTT if i recall correctly.

I hope I didn't offend u. You have a great car and BB is my favourite colour for the 34 (inline with a white n1 :) aka Terry's car)

Not everyone liked my r34 wheels on my r32 so u can't make everyone happy.

I have this thing with the wrx, evo or gtr cannot sit too low...can I explain it? No hahaha

nah all good fellas

just if you compare 2 gtr's identical side by side, 1 slapped, 1 jacked up . then youll see how phat it looks

something about guard over tread makes the biggest difference to side profile

when i first lowered my car my mechanic couldnt fit the straps under the car and had to raise it 20mm

i asked if thats ever happened before, he said no

I AM BOSS haha :D

Wouldn't say crazy offset, but good enough stance to still make it practical.

I'm running R: 18x10+22 245/40 and F: 18x9+15 235/40.

Note: Its not chrome lol. just very clean!

I'm pretty sure Shinobi_s14 is running tougher offset?

Any scraping issues with this setup or did you just roll/lip the guards?

Yeah SiNNO I've got 18x9.5 +20 on the fronts 225/40 and 18x10 +15 rears, 235/40, just had to roll the guards, thinking about flaring them a tad in the future though but it tucks in real nicely when it's lowered with bit of tyre tuck but had to raise it a tad due to the monster driveway at my place haha

    • Pretty sure it is a common fault. I believe this is the only part you need, but don't quote me as I don't have a V36.  I also believe it is a bit of a pain to change and the device needs to be encoded to the car once it is replaced, so may need someone with the right tools. • Pads for R32 GTS-t, R32 GT-R non V-Spec (Sumitomo), R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t are all interchangeable. R34 GT uses a 2x piston caliper, hence it didn't fit.
    • Checked with amayama and nope, the full S2 manual set is not available anymore. Unsurprising, but still disappointing as the ? on availability gave a glimmer of hope.
    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
