gt-t_r34
hey guys, ive got some potenza g3's that have a minor flat spot on 2 they still have plenty of meat on them, so i still want to try and use them is it as simple as burning a bit of rubber off them and it will Minimize the flat spot or get rid of it, or will it just get bigger. i havent driven on them since the were flat spotted if i put them on the back would it be very noticable? thanks simon Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/147667-flat-spotted-tyres/ Share on other sites
Thunderbolt
Depends on how deep the flat spot is, but if it is only minor as you say, then all you need to do is wear the tyres down enough until the flat spot is no longer there. If you put them on the rear, it should be less noticable and you have the option of wearing them down in one drive if you like. Try and avoid hard braking in the meantime, because you are more likely to wear a larger flat spot in the same area if you lockup again. gt-t_r34
is it a fairly big flat spot, easily noticable? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/147667-flat-spotted-tyres/#findComment-2770266 Share on other sites
