DBA 4000 info

Please post if you're interested in going ahead with these. I've closed the other thread to keep it simple. :P

R32 GTS-T

Front DBA 4909: $200.20/disc save $49.80 per disc!

R33 GTS25t

Front DBA 4963: $209.00/disc save $88.00 per disc! Rear DBA4908: $200.20/disc save $49.80 per disc!

All prices are per disc and include GST.

On a 33 this is saving of $176 for the fronts,

or $275.60 for front and rear.

The discs are being purchased through Gavsport at St Marys. Contact Kevin on 9673 0988 or [email protected] and tell them you want to be in the group buy Dino set up for Skylines Australia. Go to post all in RED on 2nd page of this thread for more details.

Fitting cost at Gavsport(approx.):

Front only $66, Front and rear $99.

They will also organise a group fitting if there are enough of you which would cut the fitting cost even more. I think around 5 or 6 would probably make it worth while. Probably cut the fitting cost by 20%.

Who's interested? :D

Will these guys post to Brisbane or is this offer only for Sydney people? I was in Sydney for Easter but don't plan to go back there for a couple of months. Might be able to get a friend to pickup but would rather frieght it up here.

heh sorry Brody couldn't resist...:) I'm not sure about 3 or 4 weeks, if you give a deposit I'm sure that would work.

jlnewton, the more people the better. I guess they would freight them up to QLD. Let me check.

Well Discpads.com will send 5 rotors anywhere in Australia for $40 so as long as its around there I am happy. Besides, who can wait? As soon as I buy something I want to fit. Everything must stop until they are fitted! I have had numerous things sent from UAS, Just Jap, JMS and Takas and it has always been reasonable.

Hi,

This is off the topic, but can someone help? I would like to know what the diameter of R32 GTSt, R32 GTR and R33 GTSt disc are in diameter. I have noticed that R33 brakes are becoming a popular upgrade for an R32 - I thought they were the same.

Any help would be great!

Thanks.

Retail is:

R33 Front DBA 4963 $297.00/Disc Rear DBA 4908 $250/Disc

R32 Front DBA 4909 $250/Disc

So on the 33 fronts you will save $88.00 per disc!

A saving of $176 for the fronts,

or $275.60 for front and rear.

DBA have given Gavsport a great deal on these as well so you won't do better if you can get "trade" elsewhere.

Who's in? :D

    • Finally have an update on this  Rack came in this week so I did a test fit. You do need the S chassis bushings since the rack is 5mm thinner than the R33 rack. The main issue I foresaw and ran into was one of the hardlines not lining up properly with there it's meant to on the rack. After some gentle coercing and bending very slightly, I managed to get it to fit without any kinks and keeping the hardline pretty much in all of the factory mounting positions. I did have to unbolt all of the soft mounts to move the line around so I could snake it out and bend it safely but it looks good to me for now. I'll update when the rack is fully bolted in and functioning.
    • I hear this thread needs an update following its adventures last Wednesday!
    • What are you thinking makes a sequential shit to drive on the street? About the ONLY thing I can think of, is if you're wanting to be able to roll up to lights in third or second and pop it straight into neutral, or you want to come down two or three gears, say out of 5th and back to second, but they shift quick enough it doesn't really matter
    • I'm not a drag racing guy, but that was a good watch. Didn't Ibrahim's car have some cooch! But the big question is....WTF is with so many of them running without seatbelts!
