scary stuff hay, i didnt catch the whole story, but didnt sound good

yeah he had major issues trying to take their 180 degree hairpin turns and the likes. we should do the same route again, but instead of heading back to adel via eagle on the hill. head straight to handorf from the pub at lobethol.

sounds good dooky, i really like that piece of road, well suited to skylines

handles good? definately good for handbrake corner entries

Handles like poo, but hey you gotta use your imagination in these sorts of cars, wouldn't catch me rippin no handbrake in the 33 tho, my mate has but he's a full on slider, used to have a 31(as stated in drift battle being "the most drifted out 31 in Australia) but the damn fool has switched to a 180.

yeah but by looking at the respones to organised events ppl pull out at the last moment. ie dinner and cruise as a good example. so would be good just to get phone numbers and go say something like "want to crusie this afternoon" and make a decision straight away instead of yeah i'll go then later say nah i cant.

I also second that motion, and sometimes it's better with just 4 or 5 when it's like that!

my brothers 180 is set up for drift and when you pull the hand brake epsecially in this weather condition, you better know what you are doing cause the thing goes absolutely sideways. same cant be said bout the 33 though as i havent bothered trying.

But the Mt Lofty cruise was a good turnout, nice weather, no probs at all! I sort of need a bit of notice cos i got to drive 100ks to the meet up point

Yeh my mates got a thing for ripping it heaps early like i mean heaps early, he wants to rip it at the canteen at Mallala for turn one, and has even gone as far as saying doin a 360 into slide turn one, but i said I'll appaude when i see that one!!

I dont think 33s are suited to full-on drifting, theyre more of a drivers car

    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
