Quick Question About Fmic Install On R33

i know how to install a FMIC kit on my r33 but there is just a question about part of the installation that i want help with

im asking about the pipe that runs across the top of the radiator fan...in most installation instructions it says to trim the top of the blades to allow clearance for the fan to rotate, however if u trim the end of the blade fans wont that cause some sort of inbalance as the fan spins? is this safe to to, or would it be better to carefully "bash" the section of the pipe in at the bottom, to allow clearance so you dont have to trim the fans? or will that disrupt the air flow of the cooler? which is the better option?

advice would be great guys

I have seen this covered before...cut even amounts off each blade if u have to. I didnt have to at all. Might be an issue with generic brands to suit as many models as possible..dunno.

i just did an install on my R33.Ihad to trim the blades on mine.but i wasnt exactly accurate in the trimming of thr blades,i just cut them as they needed to clear the pipe.So far no probs.

dont mean to hijack. i got my kit from just jap and the bloke who i spoke to said i need to get a nipple added to one of the hoses. can someone please explain what that is for? and where can i get it done?

The nipple required is for the actuator so that it opens once boost pressure rises... you can T-piece a vacumme hose from the BOV to the actuator with the same result... been covered many times... try searching..
