IMO they're ok, but; - You have to do a lot of modification of the bracket or the hub to get the brackets to bolt on. I was a bit uncomfortable with the amount of material that had to come out. You NEED an angle grinder. John will tell you they are not a easy fit. - You have to bend the buggery out of the copper brake line to get it back in the caliper, as the bracket moves the caliper down as well as out. I was concerned with the amount of bending required. If i were to do another i'd try the ebay ones that just move the caliper radially out rather than out and down. My guess is that they would probably bolt straight on and not require anywhere near as much bending of the brake line. Roy
If i were to do another i'd try the ebay ones that just move the caliper radially out rather than out and down. That is more a function that you are going from 296mm to 324mm rotors, and you cant simply offest the holes using a simple bracket. You actually need to clock the caliper around so you have sufficient meat in the caliper. So i dont think the ebay ones for 296 to 324mm will be any different. You may be thinking about the brackets that relocate the caliper for 280 to 324mm rotors Its a good budget upgrade...but remember its a budget upgrade. You would get a better result using new stiffer calipers suited to the rotor size you want .... which means big coin. 32R
So what calipers and rotors would you reccomend Roy? Seem to remember you were going to adapt a 343mm rotor to suit the GTR caliper any news on this..and would it suit a FPV style one piece rotor(343mm) Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/150075-who-has-used-the-unique-auto-sports-bracket-upgrade-for-vspec-rotors/#findComment-2797307 Share on other sites

Roy
Honestly, if its a street car then i would stick with std caliper and rotor size with good pads and fluid and properly serviced mastger cylinder, booster etc etc. If you are getting fade out of a properly maintained setup with good pads i respectfully request you hand in your drivers licence. It appears AP are the best bang for dollar....you never see 2nd hand APs for sale...the reason is owners take them from car to car Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/150075-who-has-used-the-unique-auto-sports-bracket-upgrade-for-vspec-rotors/#findComment-2798151 Share on other sites
Rowdyr32
I have the new type of UAS spacer that I bought on the VIC trip to NSW for 324mm rotors on a 32gtr. I'm going to have a go at installing them this w/e for Calder in a few weeks. I'll let you know how they go. They are really cheap for what you get. Now I'm a bit worried about how easily they'll go on as as he said they were a straight fit and they had spent a lot of time to get it right. Hope you don't have the same batch as mine.
