Dying @2200 Rpm

ok my gtr sometimes dies when it hits 2200 rpm it runs fine til then any one have any ideas what could be wrong with it ?

it doesnt do it all the time

Might be worth pulling any fault codes out of the ECU? Providing you're running the stocker?

Any mods?

its running mines ecu so i cant check fault codes and workshop i go to dont open from xmas break for another week other mods are apexi pods and 3in from turbo's to cat then 4inch also running 1 bar boost

What exactly do you mean by dying? does it completely turn off or just cough and splutter? Could be AFM related I had problems with my R32 it would just cough and splutter around 3k for a while then all of a sudden surge back to life again, replaced the AFM and all has been well since.
