S2 Headlights

i had a series 2 then i had a bad accident and had to replace front end parts with a series 1... so i wanna slowly change it back now ive got cash... headlights are they a straight swap???

The headlights on a s1 have more rounded corners compared to a s2 which are more square so the panel beater would have changed the bonnet too as it isnt the same, you would need to do the full swap at the same time for it to work. the diference can be seen in the following jspec links

People say that it's posssible to change the headlights, bonnet and grill.

The headlights will be not perfectly lined up with the front bar, but it'll be close. Ideally, you'd want to change the front bar too (which would also require the sII front bar reinforcement), but it is OK wihtout doing it.

ive still got my s2 bonnet with slight damage can be fixed easily... so bonnet and lights and im away...
