NismoAlan
HI, Do you use more fuel when using high boost than what you do when using low boost? Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/15131-turbo-fuel-consumption/ Share on other sites
GTS-t VSPEC
Yes. More air flowing means more fuel to keep the AFR's correct. See'ya:burnout: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/15131-turbo-fuel-consumption/#findComment-308352 Share on other sites
akeenan
obviously yes, the harder the engine is working the more fuel you are burning Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/15131-turbo-fuel-consumption/#findComment-308676 Share on other sites
Cubes
Depends if you hit high boost.. Even running 15-16psi I get around 430kays to a tank. I go sideways in second every day I drive it. Running on standard boost I get close to 500kays to a tank. For some reason I have been forced to run Mobil Synergy 8000 as when I run BP 98 Ultimate It feels like I get flat spots and doesn't come on as hard. What I mean by flat spots is power levels out then picks back up. hence the ECU pulling timing out. GTS-t VSPEC
430kays to a tank? Lucky you. I barely get 300km's from mine. See'ya:burnout: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/15131-turbo-fuel-consumption/#findComment-310399 Share on other sites
Cubes
I've always got that sort of kays. I've got different injectors though, C18 Injectors. Maybe they were cleaned or maybe the ecu was fiddled with but it still runs rich as hell on high boost.
