I dont generally get cranked about these type of vehicles as I've seen a few up close and frankly the engineering on them can be a bit rough-hence its inclusion in the auto forum and not the wasteland. This one is a bit different...dont know how it would handle at the top end though.

repost from a while back....

But yeah it might be road reg but i bet if it was seen by the po po on the street they would have it off the road in no time.

It was prolly reg before the mods took place.This is how every1 who modifyes cars like this gets away with saying that it is road legal..after rego expires it will never be road reg again. :no:

      Looking at it now the battery clamp needs some love..  LOL One day, but not tomorrow, tomorrow I'm strictly a spectator, the only testing for me tomorrow will be on the coffee and food at the Cafe

      I purchased some (used but new to me) Yokohama A050 Mediums to try out for the first time and fitted them up to one of my sets of Rays TE Fortesst's. Sizes are 235/45R17 front and 255/40R17 rear. They are very chonky compared to the same sized AD09 on the same sized rim. Some fiddling will be needed to make them fit. How much camber do these like as a general rule? I imagine more than the rear camber of -1.5' I typically run. So my plan is to target -3.8 front and -2 rear

      Yeah yeah, the oven did get a good clean after the "baking"...LOL In other, wrinkle black painted stuff news, expansion tank and PS reservoir all fitted up and tested at temp Much nicer than the yellow stained plastics
