Maybe lock the forum, and any information to pm gary??

why would you lock the thread? Its here to give any information leading to the theft and or the attempted sale of the parts. The names and possiable whereabouts of the offenders.

why doesnt somebody just follow them next time there spotted and whilst your in the car cruising behind them..

call the cops?

Cos no-one has probabaly seen them since we found out about the issue. I had no idea the car had been stolen when i was driving next to one identical to the one in the pic.

Yeh so wats the difference between pm-ing gary about it or putting up here?? Italiazr1 is right what if they are members and are reading this? It was only a suggestion!

Reason 1: Its already over 5+ forums so whats the difference you may ask, its exactly my point it wont change things locking the thread.

NS

Supra

SAU

R31

Street Commos

from what ive seen, people are checking Ebay and forum forsale sections on NS and SAU for gary, if they are members of the following forums then they would have seen this already, the more scared they are the better IMO.

Back on topic of the thread. Spoke to a mate that reckons some people have seen it being driven in campbellfield area, makes sense to me, no offence to westies.

Also if your unsure there was a forsale sticker on the back (probably removed, but I doubt they are still driving the car now) It basically says "my car is for sale, the phone number and that its on carsales).

EDIT: for the sake of maturity

Edited by Wheezy

sorry to hear, will keep my eyes peeled as i am goin into the campbelfieldl area soonish. is there a contact number? just incase someone spots it we can call the cops and the owner. whats the number plate btw

Edited by sillylankan

OK there is no forsale sticker on the back....

Has (prob now had) a CREATD sticker on the back window

Has a cracked windscreen (massive crack)

Its a Spec S but instead of the spec S badge it has APEXi badges in place.

Has silvia on the back of the boot...To the RHS of the boot IIRC

The nissan badge on the bonnet is upsidedown too

Has a vieper alarm with the light up stickers also.

Thought this would also help

-Jez

ALSO, the one spotted in campbellfield had a FS sticker is we think its still in the SE, some more ppl with yellow S15's aparently have been approached by the suspects this past week, so we are thinking the theives stole the car to rebirth it! Possiably changing plates etc, so it might have different plates on it, But I think ive posted a good description.

Last semi-accurate sopt was the SE burbs (near dadny road - possiably)

Sorry to hear mate. I've been looking @ every yellow thing that I see in my rear vision mirror. lol. I travel through Pakenham, Narrie Warren & Dandenong every day, and see alot of cars come through my business each day so I'll also keep my eyes open.

damn cricket i wana see if it gets on the news!!!!

there going down...!

i saw that exhaust too jez i was like 'oh shit' but i realised was differnt. kinda of good but still left in the lurch on whats happenin to it........

did they get the footage? i know i had to bust balls to get footage from a servo when a car was stolen.

It really should not be a problem but they just seem not to care. Bust em and Bust em til they get it.

Edited by URAS

The cops should already have the footage, due to it being evidence. Allot of businesses tend not to put allot of emphasis in this area of security, most have shitty recordings from outdated equipment. Your best bet to get a hold of the footage, if you want it, is through the leading detective.

f**kING THIEFS. y dont they go out and get a job and slave like the rest of us honest people who work our arses off for a pride and joy.

if i c something in the eastern suburbs ill let u know plus some of my boyz work at the carwash on doncaster road and they c cars all f**king day i passed on the car info to them for u bro

u never know

gl with the recovery hope everything works out for u

By "they" i meant the cops, there is a lot of paper work in getting video evidence. I was part of a sting that involved stolen goods from my store that ended up on ebay in SA and we set them up to meet in a servo and to get the video was difficult as it remains the property of the servo and needs to be returned.

i hope your right and it is already in their possesion.

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. Rb25det s1 walbro255 fuel pump nismo fpr holset hx35 turbo fmic 3" exhaust freddy intake manifold q45tb q45 maf   Re: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Fri Apr 12, 2013 5:07 am No, I didn't. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
    • My return flow is custom and puts the return behind the reo, instead of at the bottom. All my core is in the air flow, rather than losing some of it up behind the reo. I realise that the core really acts more as a spiky heatsink than as a constant rate heat exchanger, and that therefore size is important.... but mine fits everything I needed and wanted without having to cut anything, and that's worth something too. And there won't be a hot patch of core up behind the reo after every hit, releasing heat back into the intake air.
