got the wheels on

fronts sit nice flush with the guard and rears could do with 10-15mm spacers to bring them flush (maybe more) and to be lowered lots.

chef- any updates with yours yet?

I have the elctrical diagrams for them now. should make debugging them a fair whack easier. I have one with a CAN issue currently and this is going to help immensly!

(FYI they are CAN bus driven car depsite how they appear as a 'simple box'. )

Wheel and tyre specs, stat! Are they 205/40 17s?

My place looks like a wheel warehouse, got three sets of Rota RBs (16x7 +40s, Cube spec) and the Goocars for my car also arrived this week. They have tyres on them, but they're odd sizings, so I'm getting new rubber and sending it down to my local panel beater for the necessary guard massaging, then wheels/coilovers go on.

wheels are stitch precious at 17x7 +28 all round. rears could easily go to a +15 i think. and 205/40/17s for $160 for the set deilivered brand new :)

chris rogers - how much to supply a cruise crontrol kit?

i looked over here but they seem pretty steep.

what were you quoted? given that I'll put the controls on the right side of the wheel and its all DBW mine probably won't be as cheap as you are expecting.

for example:

thats one we did earlier.

This is 16x7 +35 front, +15 rear....

I'll take a few snaps of the ones david (cube cars) has. there is a black one with a decent stance on it and I think the wheel sizes are similar.

thats the picture i saw.

i think it was 60000yen ish plus install.

although i was going to do the install myself rather than pay someone over here to do it.

700 + 220 fitting. its not something you really want to attempt yourself. if you want a dash light on and a car that will start and not go anywhere - by all means have a go. :)

its a local product- made in brisbane actually. :) the yen has little to do with it. the criuse unit runs on the same base as the V35 items I do.

im in japan. the equivalent ones iv seen over here are a similar price then.

i was going to see if i could use the cheaper aussie dollar to my advantage :)

This is what a 17x8 +30 looks like...

Front will need some guard pulling - when we lowered it down, it was Mexican by about 25mm...

That's the rear - reckon it will only need a guard roll if I can find a camber kit soon enough...

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
