Look guys,

I can not approve leads on site.

I already have done 1 power lead which is about 15-20m long and 1 powerboard that has 6 outlets.

If I can get them tonight off you and you can do with the one I have already approved I can bring the others back on sat morning.

Ok I will bring a lead and board

Hey guys, the turn out was great and the display looks good.

Hands down for Paul MADGTR (Oz GTRO2V) with he's car

on the dyno today :D .... a crazy 300kw on all fours. Top stuff.

Also with Abo Bob's R34. Great stuff. :pwned:

Duncan..... damn! :P that car is total'd but looks great with us in the SAU stand.

Anyways im at home now, as im dead tired...as. It was a big day.

Cya's all tomorrow again.... :P

Edited by FILO34

MADGTR got 300awkw :pwned:

Abo's R34 managed an amazing 260+ i believe

Charlie's R32 managed 0awkw cause he pulled out at the last second

Victor's R34 i didn't get a chance to see as i was trying to park but i think i heard a 168 or something.

but best of all . . . my car managed an astonishing 157rwkw :D i've lost 20rwkw from a couple of weeks ago (many thanks to the factory ecu). so officially tomorrow i will place a donation box outside my car for the "lets help buy Nic a PwrFC charity". if you donate Paul will do a lil dance for you

In other skylines a race bred 32 managed 850awhp, was about 620 something kw with NOS. i think the highest figure was a supra with close to 660rwkw. lowest was a suzi swift with 63fwkw.

****EDIT**** ALBERT!!! sorry sorry sorry, my bad atleast now i know it!

MADGTR got 300awkw :)

mmmm...got 165, dont think was accurate.. but was a good run, and yeah luck last :) :)

just got home going out to city getting pissed now!!!

see yous all tomrw!!!

Well thankyou to all those who managed to come today and I reckon the guys have put together a good display with almost a zero budget.

Fingers crossed charlie is getting his mechanic out tomorrow morning and if gets the ok from him it will be doing the dyno run and will hope to win the all wheel drive trophy.

Thats it for me and NICSR33 information is right on the mark with those figure readouts.

See you lot tomorrow.

I should be on the dyno tomorrow, but only running off the wastegate boost pressure as it isn't tuned for more.

I have little chance of taking out any trophies as there is a certain yellow R32 that made 850HP today, with the "big hitters" coming out to play tomorrow at 2pm.

But it will be interesting :(

Well done to everyone that was there and helped, especially those that got straight into cleaning my car inside out before the turbos had stopped spinning :) Thanks again guys.

Hopefully tomorrow will be even better :)

charli any idea of what time ull be running? want to be there for it

Yes it was a good day, after the 600+ phattgtr had a run the interest in the SAU stand doubled. The cars all looked great and we had alot of lookers considering there was not one piece of custom paint or chrome to be seen.

All I can say is a good car is good car even without all the Bling Bling

those dynos readouts you need to add a extra 15kw to get the true figure

Uhhhhmmmm im not sure how to break this news but the dyno is exactly on the money.

My car showed 298.9 on croydons dyno and 300 on the AS one.

On Thursday I run 310 at the rears at the UAS dyno and backed it up with a first run of 288 at all 4 on the AS one.

My opinion its a close as it gets

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
