To all those who are attending just letting you know that Emily will not be there.

You all will be paying full price for the day as I (Daniel) have the tickets and they are in MY name.

I was going to be refunding you all once the refund was back but people interfered even consider out of my own money until the personal attacks.

I have been trying to organise this day for 4 months and have been constantly stuffed around so I gave up and decided to cancel the reason why I stated there were no refunds was just incase I couldn't get the money back.

Now what has happened is someone illegally has accessed the account and changed all the details ruining it for you all seeing as you will now be paying full price unless I can fix it and get you all your money back and if John wants to talk about refunds then well i will need back $150 as I paid for alot of the places out of my own money to bring friends and fill the blank spots.

So it would be in everyones best interest for John to stop interferring and let me get everyones money back (which you all would of recieved over the next week or 2).

So as for organisation John I have tried continuously over the past 4 months and nothing and what you have done is illegal and very stupid.

Love Daniel

So you told us no refunds in the other thread, when infact refunds are possible? which would mean if we cancelled you would get our money... correct? but now you say you WERE trying to refund our money?

Why would it be in our best interest if Jon stopped trying to organise this event? hes just trying to give people what they paid for... all you seemed to do is whinge when people cancelled and threatened everybody with there deposits if they didnt stop speaking there minds...

So as for organisation John I have tried continuously over the past 4 months and nothing and what you have done is illegal and very stupid.

and nothing? nothing what? what does that even mean?

how do you contain all of your awesome-ness...?

Emily, keep your thing on a leesh.

Danial, have you not got your own username in here? Weren't you 'SL33PR' or something similar? Emily must trust you blindly,as I'd not let anyone sign off, name or otherwise, under my user name.

From a legality point of view,I believe the Police might be interested in Daniel's dealings long before anyone else needs berating. I'm wondering at what point we involve the law in a situation like this.

JB(a20089) has been more than forthright with how to go about this properly, and I back him 100%. Nothing he has done is,as you term it,stupid;quite to the contrary, actually. Organised, stuctured, and NOT misleading would be the high points in his plan, amongst others. Maybe you can learn a thing or two from him,if you feel humble enough to suck eggs for five seconds.

Simple,really...

Paintball LOL!!!

are we ever going to get to shoot each other? I have no idea what is going on but Daniel, you seem to have 2 different stories. just pick one and stick with it.

there are some fairly annoyed people here... I don't give a F#$K about the money, but I do care about the ACT skyline community. its good to have a bunch of like minded people to talk to and meet up with. and causing this S#%TFIGHT is dividing people. we really don't need that.

I have no idea how this all started and it is none of my business, but involving 15+ people that have all organised to go to an activity has made it everybody's business.

Like others have said Jon is doing his best to reorganize the day.

It seems like you are trying to cause trouble Daniel.

We don't need that here

never knew paint ball took so much effort geez

had a mad half day with a few mates at air disaster and it only cost me $60, if you bought this deal of some dodgy guy that was going around to different places selling specials for the michalago one then own fault i guess... those promo's are always a crock of shite

Yes what a SAGA, this is better than a cheap American sitcom.

As the Paintball place knew of the full situation, they contacted me regarding Daniel and informed me that Daniel has made a claim on the money and that he will be receiving all the money back this week. That means Emily can pass on the refunds at the wheels expo, if she is still coming. This is a good outcome and one that I made suggestion of directly to Emily in PM, before trying to resurrect this day.

I have developed a good relationship with Paintball and they have offered me the same deal in any future day organised. They will also inform me when the money has been paid.

I've removed the rest of my planned reply avoid a slanging match, I think most people can read what has happened, but suffice to say I have been unimpressed with Daniels last few messages. I hope for better.

I and those others who have paid await your sensible reply regarding refunds Daniel.

I must say well done A20089 you have gone well and truly above and beyond what anyone would have expected to try and keep this going. It seems very dodgy about some of Daniel's replies first about how the money is lost now it comes out that the refund has been given to them. I wonder if they were just going to keep the money and tell everyone it was lost before you got involved. Even though I was not really involved in this i say big thumbs up to you champ for the effort put in. It's people like you that make the Canberra SAU Community a good place to be a part of. :)

This is great....

HAHAHAHAH! There's nothing on TV either which makes it even more humourous.

I don't know whats going on, but all I want to do is try some paintball, and I appreciate Johns efforts in trying to set it up.

WELLLLLL... my 22nd is coming up in april.. and I'm planning on having a 'kabala go-kart paintball marathon'.

It's gonna be on Saturday 7 April, 10-11am. Go karting for a couple of hours.. then make the way to paintball after.. then chill out with a few brewski's at the end of the day.. then to uni pub to destroy the rest of the night.

I invite anyone to come join me and my mates.

So far I've told a few of the fellas at work and my mates.. but I'm more than happy to have anyone join in the festivities. No questions asked, no deposits.. I don't care how much money we save if we do it as a group, I'll bring some beers to compensate.

i have searched high and low on ebay for paintball guns your best bet is to buy one from america and have it shipped over in parts

then hi-jacking a r1 and building a super go cart so noone will catch u once they have been smashed in every hole with paint

After we get our money back, well getting the money back depends on Daniel at this stage.

As for organising, it think it is time to let some of the younger people to experiance organising things. I will help with ideas/advice if people want them.

THis go kart and paintball day sound a bit expensive but a great idea.

So does this mean after we get our money back you'll be organising a new paintball adventure? :) Because im overly keen (same with ceffie it seems :)) to shoot people

    • I ordered a GSP Front R/H Axle from here - https://justjap.com/products/gsp-premium-front-driveshaft-r-h-nissan-r32-r33-r34-skyline-gtr-stagea-4wd#description It lasted around a year before one of the boots blew out. I'm lowered, but I have GKTech roll center adjusters. One year seems a little premature. I think I'm going to spend the extra money on an OEM cv axle this time. This website - https://tfaspeed.com/collections/nissan-stagea-wgnc34-x-four-parts/products/nissan-stagea-awc34-260rs-rb26-right-front-axle-drive-assembly Makes it sound like the readily available OEM CV axle will only fit 11.1999 Stagea and up (mine is a 2.1997 S1). The JustJap listing didn't mention any years or anything for the GSP axle. Amayama shows '11.1999' and up as well for that part number. As well as 'plastic boot type'. See attached picture. So I guess my question is, does that axle (39100-23U60) really only fit S2 Stagea? It's the front driver side. If it does, I'd love to buy that instead of rolling the dice on another GSP. I've found that OEM one cheaper here: https://www.partsfornissans.com/oem-parts/nismo-jdm-r32-r33-r34-skyline-gtr-r32-gts4-right-front-axle-3910023u60 and here https://www.nissanparts.cc/oem-parts/nismo-shaft-ft-drive-3910023u60 Just a little confused because the JapSpeed listing for the GSP front driver axle doesn't mention any specific years or anything and it fit my S1 Stagea fine. So will 39100-23U60 fit my S1 Stagea even though technically it says '11.1999' and up? What would have changed? Thanks.
    • Thanks for the info. The only "Issue" I've had with the shifter is I always found the throw between 4th and 6th gear too close. I'm always worried to shift into 4th accidently and sending my motor to the moon. Adam LZ recently came out with a video and stated Serialnine revised their shifters to correct this and will change all the revised parts for 150$. Strangely enough, I contacted Serialnine right after and they denied it and said it's bullshit. I found that strange as he's a distributer. I'll keep this forum post updated on that saga.
    • Yep that is correct. It allows you to adjust the short throw range from what I can tell
    • Car has been running great, I've put about 300km's of break in time on it. First thing that stands out with properly sealing rings is no more noticeable crankcase smell coming out of my catch can. This may seem insignificant, but the constant smell while driving around was infuriating. It's also nice to see my oil level remain stable. Two new issues have developed that I only noticed this weekend though. There's a very noticeable driveline vibration past 100kmh. I only noticed it now as I've been babying it under 100kmh in the backroads. This comes as no surprise as I'm running a one-piece shaft, and I paid zero attention to my driveshaft angle when I put everything back in. I also have a fair bit of voltage drop on hot starts. The starter audibly is forcing. No issues on cold start though. I must not have removed all the paint under my main block ground during assembly. I'll try and take care of both those issues this week once the kids are asleep.  I also received all the parts I was missing for my direct port setup. I will hopefully have pictures of that up soon. I'm hoping to get back on the dyno the week of June 30th as I'll be on vacation. I'm confident I should be able to make north of 500rwkw on pump gas and WMI. I'll go back again later this summer with E98, but I want to confirm my ethanol content sensor is working properly first. I've never seen it read anything but 11%. This makes sense for our 10% ethanol content pump gas here, but I would expect the occasional movement between fill ups.
    • 75% complete. Will now need to get a new axle with 5x114.3 hubs and then figure out how to customize some mudguards for it once the wheels are on.
