OK, for all those people into paintball, or who would like to be, there is a Scenario Day being organised for the weekend before Anzac Day (was supposed to be ON Anzac Day but too many people have to attend dawn services etc).

Date: 21st April, 2007

Location: WASP Clackline (near Northam)

The day requires registration and payment beforehand to guarantee numbers. You do not need to have your own gear as there will be hire gear available. It is also a lot cheaper than your average day out paintballing. Included in the price is a box of paint (2000rds) as opposed to buying by the 100s for your average punter.

All information and the rego form can be found at Bills Paintball.

I am just trying to spread the word to make this the biggest scenario game that WA has seen. There are two games planned for the day, the first, in the spirit of Anzac Day is to be a frontal assault against a team well emplaced at the top of a hill. The second game planned will encompass all 9 of WASP Clacklines fields, which should make for a very fun and interesting day! If you need anymore info, PM me or call WASP :O

Oh and to give you an idea of what you're in for.. here's a pic of my marker :woot:

Gotta make sure it clicks down :O And losing a few balls here and there is nothing when you've got 2000rds to play with!

Basically, if you're hiring gear you will only be paying $25 more than those of us with our own gear.. I think the prices breakdown as follows (they're on the rego form anyway):

Those with own gear - $120 includes field fee and case of 2000rds

Those without own gear - $145 includes field fee, case of 2000rds, hire marker and goggles.

Do the maths on whatever you were paying for paint when you went out :woot: Not to mention that it should be an awesome day, the more people that attend the better it will get!

Do they have any sort of air refill station for refills???

I have all my own gear expect the the air bottle which I usually borrow from Xtreme (where I usually play)

Hmm and know that I have written this I may as well have posted this at Bills as I visit there occasionally anyways...

Yeah saw your post on Bills before :O so you don't have any air tank at all?

I'm pretty damn sure fluffa told me previously that had a HPA compressor, I run my A5 on HPA but have a spare co2 tank as a backup (not that I'd ever want to go back to co2 heh).

If you don't have a tank at all, PM tex or fluffa on Bills or ring WASP and see if they can hire you a tank for the day for a nominal price :P

Yes there will numbers, hoping for 100+ on the day! tell your friends, your enemies and even people you just feel like shooting! get your rego forms in! (those prices only apply if you register beforehand :ninja: )

hehe I want to go!! I hate it when ppl sneak behind my back and repetitively shoot me...happened once..was so pissed...keep pressing the trigger the thing keeps pounding my head...damn adrinalin

I got shot three times in the ear in like half a second by a tournament marker once! saw stars for a few seconds o_O

Honestly though, it's not that bad. It hurts more when I'm reffing and get shot unexpectedly.. "oh look, there's a guy in bright pants and shirt, no marker who is obviously not in the game.." <pop> >(

Stings for a little bit and yes it does bruise.. here was a nice one.. (don't mind the lily white arms :))

After a few days it spread and looked pretty cool :D

It's not too bad though, I've had my mum out paintballing once and she loved it until she got shot in the pinkie finger  Females usually get provided with chest protectors to protect their assets and guys will need to bring their own cricket box.. one day out reffing I watched a guy shoot his mate in the bell-end (Edit: point blank too), he wasn't wearing a box. Lets just say I don't think he was very happy :P

    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.
    • Is the panel filter one that is oiled? Have you ever cleaned or touched the AFM?
    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
    • It is the stock air box with the panel filter. Everything else is stock except the exhaust at this point, as I also went back to the cleaned 270cc injectors. I will check the RPM when the IACV is unplugged and report back.
    • As MBS suggested if this is happening when the engine is cold you're going to want to remove the intake air regulator and verify resistance + that the shutter is physically opening and closing. At -20C should be fully open, 20C half open, over 60C fully closed. At 20C should be 70-80 ohms. For AAC valve testing using a Consult cable see if you can raise and lower the idle by commanding more or less AAC duty cycle. Hopefully it's pretty linear as well, shouldn't be like 30% AAC valve is barely idling and 40% is 1500 rpm.
