Is Stagea2 Smic The Same As R34 Smic?

Just trying to find out if the Stagea 2 standard smic is exactly the same as the R34 standard smic.

And is the shroud the same aswell?

Well, having never seen a SMIC from a series 2 I can't say fer sure, but the R34 one has a bit of a weird shaped upside down tee shaped shroud. I will take a pic of it tonight after work and post it up for you if that will help.

I am in the process of fitting this to a S1 and while the R34 shroud is going to be easier to modify than the S1 std shroud, it doesn't fit behind a std S1 front bar and still needs to be chopped down to fit. It doesn't, however, need the same levels of mods as shown by the all knowing and all seeing SK in his VERY helpful tutorial covered in the DIY section.

going from memory the shroud is the same as well.

the intercoolers are the same.

Shroud will most likely be different,as the front bar shape is different between the cars.

I have a S2 SMIC and shroud available if you're after a stagea specific part.

r34 intercooler and shroud will fit on the s1, you will need to reuse the top right hand intercooler mount as the r34 ones wont fit

and putting the plastic undercarriage guard back is a real bitch coz the r34 intercooler sits like 1.75 inches below the stock s1 cooler.

Maybe this pic of my old S2 SMIC will help. It doesnt show measurements, but FCRUZ is right that they are about 40mm taller.
