Misfiring Issue Finally Sorted

finally after months and months of hair pulling dramas i have resolved my misfiring. in my case it was due to the tune running way too lean up top.

i have been thru a few mods since the last tune was put on the eprom but i was under the impression it was already running rich. anyways i swapped the eprom with a yoshi hard tune i've had lying around for a year and the car now runs sweet all the way up to 19psi no misfire :)

cheers to "the mafia" and "cubes" for bringing this to my attention !

so if you have tried everything listed throughout the SAU forums like me and are still having dramas get your A/F ratio checked it may be something stoopid.... :ninja:

the way i had been driving it i wouldnt be suprised!

i have another rb20 waiting to go in soon as this one dies. unfortunately i havent been able to run the boost levels required to help the process along until now :)

21psi last night .....so far so good heh. :ninja:

About MX5's, the smart money is on the NC, specifically the NC2 if your budget goes that far, and with MX5 pricing that's pretty much where they go. Occasionally you see them pop up with tasteful mods like suspension and such, but the NC2 is the quiet sleeper of the range in terms of overall goodness.
    • The housing it self made minimum differences, while the exhaust manifold made a difference. 6 Boost T3 divided will do fine. ATR43SS3ProR model in T3 .82 rear (TS optional) from March 25th will be more then capable of 450whp with excellent response.

    • Yeah I've just been checking it out on GTR registry and its the emerald green pearl (DS0) and only 610 made for S1 RS-Four V (if i'm understanding correctly) so I feel obliged to restore the paint to as close to original as possible!
