Awsome cruise, great to take old yella out for a real drive and put some km's on the clock... Thanks for the invitation Adam...

I got fish and chips on the way home too, as I needed it... :ninja:

Sidenote:

Great to see a Canon user out there Kevin... :P

However how could you use ISO1600 even at night...

Didn't the camera shooting at 1/4000 of a second and f7.1 give you a hint that the ISO was set high...

You need a 580ex or two and maby some f1.8/2.8 glass... :)

Can I suggest for $$$ get a EF50mm F1.8 (RRP is $149 and they are us usefull)

Also once the $$$ are saved get a 17-55 f2.8 (RRP $1999)

Also if your into the trackdays and the drag strip then its hard to go past the 28-300LIS f3.5-5.6 (However they are $4399)

These recomendadions are assuming you using a 350/400D, as once you upgrade to a 30d it would be 1 to 1.3 and 5d these len's become 1 to 1.

Warning tho, once you go to L series there is no turning back... :D

:Shameless plug for canon profesional DSLR products: :P

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
