Looking to swap my r33 for a cheep reliable manual car, buying a house and cant keep my hobbie up atm.

its a 1994 r33 gts,

74xxx kms on the clock

I imported it in 2 years ago dead stock have since done

Added an r32 turbo running r33 wastegate actuator running 6.5psi boost

stock side mount intercooler

malpassii rising rate fuel regulator

pod filter

2 1/4 cat back exhaust

excedy heavy duty clutch

whiteline strut brace

microtech lt12s

ab flug series 2 front bar and r32 ab flug side skirts

roh mantis shadow chrome 17" rims

warwick alarm and remote central locking

reasonably decent stereo system

autometer boost and air fuel gauge

600hp fuel pump wallbro i think cant remember

turbosmart bleed valve never boosted put it on was going to run 9 psi but tuner decided

r32 turbo wasnt worth boosting as i was going to rebuild and high flow my spare 33 turbo

and re-tune it then, so it was a better idea me getting used to the power at 6.5 psi as originally

i had never driven a turbo car

gun metal grey

this thing has no lag and pulls right threw the rev range

have had it dynoed by two different places one said 130 at the wheels the other said 150

tunned a little richer than optimum because of the high comp motor and stock intercooler

With upgraded injectors, high flow r33 turbo and front mount and re-tune could easily hit

200 at the wheels and still have next to no lag, very fun to drive will miss a lot

Also have spare parts to be sold with the car

4 original rims with tyres with 50% tread

stock front bar

full Na induction system resinator air box ecu

Na front pipe and exhaust manifold

r33 turbo with blown oil seal (bought it second hand only to find oil seal was f*ked but ey no shaft play grrr)

r32 10psi wastegate actuator

r33 turbo elbow

oil cooler and lines mounted on the car but decided to run my oil lines differently so was only fitted for a week

oil lines would need to be run differently as set-up is different than what it originally was

na ecu

Located in melbourne

price $13,000 but more interested in swap for a cheap reliable manual car and cash adjustment

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
