guys i got a couple of questios regarding surge tanks. anyone have a diagram/pic of how the lines are meant to be conected up. also with a surge tank is it possible to mount one under the car. would it affect it in anyway since it wil be upsidedown? would it be best to use stock intank pump as a lifter pump and get say a bosch 044 externally

You can't mount a surge tank upside down :P

look at the pic and it will make sense why(actually just looked at the pic the overflow normally comes out of the top of the tank).....suppose you could get a custom one made up (like the one in the pic :O) that mounts at the top and has the top return on the side but would also be kind of gay as the tank wouldn't get 100% full, just put it in the boot......
