Im currently using Splitfire coils in my 33 and have been told that Mercury Marine Ignitors are stronger for spark. Whats involved in doing this type of setup and what else do i need. I have Haltech E11v2 now, is this ok or do i need to go Motec???

You should be able to use 6 Mercury CDI coils Rob, but you will need a CDI.

You could always try your Mercury dealer, or direct from the US.

And to my knowledge they have for a long, long time been one of the most grunty ignition systems on the market.

Bear in mind- CDI will mess with your stezzo, due to the RF emitted

motec needs motec to drive it. but is made by m and w.

do not get a msd.aem,or anything else. cos they willm burn out oif used in a street car.
