Hey all, kinda new here and have been looking around at performance vehicles for a while now, and have taken interest in the NISSAN SKYLINE R34 25GT (non turbo, 2 door). Was looking for general information on it. I usually use redbook.com.au for that sort of info but it only has info on the turbo R34's (i dono why, and believe me i looked) i did a search on here but didn't find what i was lookin for really. I'm lookin for fuel consumption ltr/klms, stock power in kw and torque, weight, and other specifics. I've sopken to a few people who use to own a 25gt 34 they claimed to have 150kw, and still use around 500km in a tank (not sure on tank size either) but it doesn't sound quite right to me. any info would be much appreciated. cheers.

Tank 60L or so .. yet I can never seem to fill mine to 60L ussually fit 50L max before pump turns off..

Skylines - Always eat petrol .. so if your looking for economy by a lancer or excel

Pretty much exact engine as the GTT just without the turbo .. Kws I have no idea 150rwkws I doubt as a stock GTT puts that out .. maybe 150 at the flywheel tho

Runs the same neo engine as the GTT with all the kewl things .. I think you lose some gauges tho..

hope that helps I own a GTT do dont know much else..

cheers buddy, great help. i know there's no such thing as a fuel efficient performance car, but thought it'd be around 11-12ltr per 100km. spose depends how u drive aswell. yeh i'm not too sure about power but im assuming around 135kw. not too certain about the neo RB25, should do some more research i suppose. thanks

NA 34s are rated at 147kw at the flywheel from factory. GTTs are 206kw at the flywheel from factory. Have seen a stock NA34 pull around 100kw atws on a dyno. Fuel consumption aint that bad and it should have the same tank as a GTT which is 65L.

thanks N15mo, i found quite a lot of info on the non-turb 34's in the for sale section, people claim to get over 500km to a tank but am still uncertain of the tank size, if it is 65L i geuss it isn't that great on economy afterall. 147kw sounds about right then. cheers all.

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
