Split Dump Pipe

I need to get my car retuned sometime in the next 4-6 weeks, i currenty have a 3inch exhaust all the way with single dump pipe, I was just curious if i would be wasting money getting a split dump pipe installed before the tune, will it make any difference? Also my exhaust is not stainless steel, only the muffler is stainless steel, it's a magnaflow. Is it ok to put a stainless steel split pipe on or should i get the same material as the rest of the exhaust?

dont bother wit the split dump, if u got a 3" front dump like the flyn one then yout fine. if your car is putting more than 250atw then i still would suggest the 3" pipe. a 3" pipe will allow better flow in high hp apps. the split dump is good to about 230kw then a 3" will see better response.
