Space Cadet Lady Run Into Me Today :(

Hi guys n Gals,

well my pride and joy got shafted by some space cadet SAAB driver today

i was coming up to a red light camera intersection and the lights changed, i didn't want to risk a fine so put the anchors on and pulled up

a sec later i hear a screach look into my rear vision mirror and bang crazy bat was day dreaming and run right up my ar#e .........not impressed

rear is all out of wack and my exhurst is farked, just before the cat its bent almost at a right angle. car feels a little unsettled in the back now to but might just be me.

anyway i'm insured with Famous ......tried to call, but getting no answer just some message telling me to call back later (didn't specify working hours), not overly impressed with that.

has anyone had a claim with them ??? How were they to deal with ??

Famous didn't impress me with their phone system either, but I hope you have reported to the police and have the ladys drivers licence and rego details.

I can vouch for Famous, 2 of my mates wrecked jap imports without a third party involved, each car had been modified with the usual.

The representative came out and had a look, lodged the paper work and it was done!

I am also with famous myself, haven't needed to make a claim though. So far I have been impressed.

One thing you have to remember is that there office is in Perth, so if you are on the east cost you have to remember the time difference.

Unfortunately they don't have an emergency line though, so you have to do it all in working hours.

just so you are aware, famous are in WA, so they are a couple of hours behind in time for their opening hours...I've made a not at fault claim with them few years ago, very efficient. If you have called outside working hours you will get that message.

just off the phone with them they seem pretty good and wanted to get the ball rolling asap which is more than i can say or my last insurance company.

i'll up date my progress as it unfolds.
