Cd Player Just Stopped Working

Hey guys im having problems with my panasonic mp3 cd player it just stopped working the other day. It doesnt turn on anymore but when i take the face off. The little red security led still blinks. I just wanted to know if there are any fuses on the wiring loom in the engine bay or under the sterring column that i should check before i stuff around with taking the cd player out. car is a r32 gtst, stereo is all standard bar cd player.

well checked all the fuses and they all good. looks like im just gonna have to pull it out and see. least i got my horn working just found out it was a blown fuse lol

if it is a motorised face item then the ribbon that connects the face is broke.

There is a fuse on the back of the head unit if that helps

yeh i think it might be the fuse at the back well i hope. will find out tommorow

well pulled out the deck, fuse is ok, there is still power running to the deck so its not the wiring. im guessing its the face that has shat itself or the deck itself. or maybe the security somehow disabled it? the model is Panasonic cq-DF783w. any idea?

same concept. contacts are dirty.

what can i use to clean it? metho? turps? window cleaner?

well it magically started working again today. although i did clean the terminals
