Hi Guys,

I've decided it's finaly time to let my baby go, as sudden changes mean I'm just not gona be able to afford to keep her anymore.

1993 Black R32 GTR

* 17 X 9" Bronze Volk Racing TE37 wheels.

* Sydneykid Bilstein / Whiteline groupbuy suspension package.

* Apexi N1 3" catback exhaust.

* Larger Trust Drag Spec Front Mount Intercooler.

* PIAA HID Headlights (huge improvment over standard R32 headlights).

* Exedy Heavy Duty Clutch travelled approx 15 -18,000km.

* Brand New RDA Gold Grooved Sports Disc Rotors (travelled aprox 3000km).

* Brand New Brake Pads.

* Brand New Hankook Ventus RS2 Tyres (fitted less than 500km ago).

* JVC mp3 Head unit with JL (front) and Alpine (rear) speakers.

* HKS Cam Gears.

* Twin HKS pod filters.

I've owned the car for about a year now, and it has never missed a beat, just had the cam gears installed at racepace, and the car is now making ~218kw atw. Dash is showing 76500km. Paint is also in very good condition for its age, bar a few tiny scratches.

Would really like this car to go to a good home, as its been good to me, and I have put heaps of time/money into her.

Looking for $23,000 ono.

Please call me on 0423 081 464 if you have any other questions.

Cheers,

Dave

Bump!

*Just had a compression test done on the motor at RE Customs, engine is healthy, all cylinders came up between 140 -145.

*All intake and exhaust gaskets also replaced due to a slight exhaust leak, anyone with a GTR knows this is $$$ job..

*HICAS also comming out this week!

*All RWC stuff is now taken care of. No BS roadworthy with this car!

This is a well looked after car, always looked after and treated well, Ray from RE customs says its definetally one of the nicer R32's he's seen!

Come take a look!

Hey, what part of melbourne are you in, is it the original spray job or a respray (might just be the sunlight on the frontbar) and is the price negotiable?

Thanks west,

Car is located in SE suburbs, and car still has original spray job, although it has a N1 front bar, which came with the car when i purchased, overall paint is in very good nick tho! I am also negotiable on price.

Cheers,

Dave

  • 1 month later...

Thanks Justin.

Change of circumstances means keeping it is going to be a bit tight, that being said i've got no plans to flog it off cheap, as I think this is a very good example of a 32R.

How's the drifter going?

Hi,

the car isnt quite back together yet, currently at RE customs, just added R34 N1 turbos, Power FC, Arias Forged Pistons, Head was pressure tested and came back very positive, Block was honed an extra 20 thou, also N1 oil pump, and a new airbox.

Also, tyres on the car are new, car should be able to make 300kw with out much trouble, but planning to keep it safe and target 270-280. Will be done next week.

edit: Hicas also removed, and clutch plate will also be changed and 1 year rego

i think 26-27 is a fair price considering whoever buys this is getting a freshly rebuilt 32R, like a new engine. All the problems associated with them taken care of plus all the other extras aswell.

    • Yes I can see how that would put you off HFM, especially with the price of good quality brake fluid. From what I understand it as you say the BM50 is the standard BMC for a R32 GTR, I must admit I would like to go far a Genuine Nissan BM57, but lack of cash prevents that at present. With the price being so close between the genuine BM50 and BM57 a BM57 New it seems a better choice as you gain that 1/16 bore size with the BM57, I would be interested in how much difference you feel with the BM57 fitted. I am going to take SteveL's advice in the short term and see how much actually comes out of that proportioning valve vent and save up for the Genuine Nissan part. Thanks for clarifying the HFM failure
    • Thanks mate. I just got the post inspection 1/2 done from state roads when the starter motor packed up, either that or the car alarm system is having trouble.  OEM part number 23300-AA112.
    • Hi, I though I was coming to an end in finding a replacement starter motor for a rb25de neo. I came across a starter motor from Taarks and a message below stating: Direct fit. 11 Tooth count. All below part numbers have been superseded to 11 teeth. Can some body shed some light on going from 8 teeth to 11 teeth apart from 36-month / 25,000 km warranty for passenger vehicles to 12 Month Warranty. Compatible with the following Nissan part numbers: 23300-20P00 23300-20P01 23300-20P05 23300-20P10 23300-20P11 23300-AA111 23300-AA112 23300-AA300 23300-08U10 23300-08U11 23300-08U15
    • Low battery? Maybe check capacity? I know first-hand, on BMWs if your battery drops below 80% capacity, it starts causing strange issues.
    • 8.5 +37 = should fit rear, but I think it'll hit on front. What you want is low 30s/high 20's front, mid 30's rear. That 17" screenshot you posted looks good, I'd run it on my R32 (but that's long dead now). For tyre sizes, my rule of thumb is: 8': 235, 9": 255. But that's just my opinion. Nismo sizes: 18x8.5+35/18x9.5+38 is a good starting point.
