HAVE ADDED SOME MORE PHOTOS.

Hi Everyone.

Think I should probably sell SHY 32. Have only done 1200 kilometers in 2 1/2 years and I am going to be busy for a while yet. It deserves a home with someone who will use it.

It hasnt even been on a Dyno since the rebuild by Jakes Performance in January last year. In fact hardly driven since the rebuild.

Some of you will know the car well. Factory special order metallic Dark Blue with White Nismo 400 18 x 10 Wheels & Blue/Grey Bride seats make it very unusual.

BIG HKS Drag intercooler, BIG single T04 on HKS stainless Manifold, Apexi Computer, no AF Meters and every option you can think of from the Japanese Modification catalogues.

We discovered a highly modified head and Tomei Cams when we opened it up. Jake fitted new Forged Pistons and Billet Rods, new N1 Water Pump and and N1 Oil Pump with the JUN crank adaptor. Head was serviced and new guides fitted at the same time.

No Dyno records since the rebuild but should be in excess of 400kw depending on how far you want to push the boost.

Has an OS Giken triple plate clutch, and supposed to have OS Giken Gear Set but we dont know for sure.

Tein adjustable suspension including Track and Camber Rods. Almost new Falken tyres.

The car was professionally built by START Garage in Japan. It is in very good condition and has orginal Japanese Service stickers indicating it has been serviced every 1000 klms.

Would really like to keep it and wont give it away, but if anyone wants to give it a good home we can discuss a reasonable price. Would consider offers over $25K I guess. The engine rebuild cost $10K+.

It normally has a K&N Airfilter in a modified Commodore Airbox.

The photos with no airfilter were taken at The Summer Nats in 2006.

It has never been driven without an airfilter.

Wayne

you run a $10K engine rebuild with no air filter? :)

DAD your a looser, NAH jokes.

The car is BEAST and if I had the money it would be sitting in my garage.

Someone will get one of the cleanest, standard looking, perfectly modified R32 GTR's in the WORLD

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
