Retrofitting Rb25det S2 Coil Packs

I'm thinking of retrofitting a RB25DET S2 coil pack loom to a S1 loom to run S2 splitfires and get rid of that bloody ignitor.

Anyone done this?

There arent PowerFC's for S1 or S2... just for ECR33.

So should just be a matter of matching up the signal wires yes?

Thats right.

I'm in the same situation, looking for plugs that fit s2 coils to use with my s1 loom (s1 igniter requires bypassing)

yes the ecu is the same so it shouldnt matter what ecu you use

the differences in the coilpacks its on the engine side and not the ecu side

this is why the pfc for the r33 is the same for s1 and s2

Sweet, i already have a loom, just wanted to make sure bypasing the ignitor wouldnt blow sh!t up

S1 and 2 coils work on both S1 and 2 stock ECUs if rewired so wire away.
