Hey Guys,

NissanSilvia have finally changed so that they are able to either view all the classifieds, or just the ones in a particular state. This is brilliant as when looking for something you want to pick up (say wheels in my case) you have to sort through 2 or 3 times the amount.

Any chance of getting something similar happening?

It wouldn't be any good to just have a seperate forum for each, unless there was a "view all forums" option, cause many people will want to view everything.

Anyways, have a look at NS and you will see what I mean,.

edit - The call them "catagorys" for the different states.

Cheers

Chris

The QLD classifieds have been under fire for some time now, Ive begged to keep them as I use them all the time and think their usefull...

But it has been brought to admins attention in the past...

I think the only reason the QLD one is current is I put my hand up to take care of it... That and I begged allot...

Once the forum upgrade is undertaken and completed (its coming soon)

Then we are going to revisit the whole For Sale/WTB/Trader setup of the forum as there are a number of issues currently that need addressing.

So once the new version is bed down, changes will come across the board

Sounds Good.

My thinking was that I know you guys use the same board as NS, so I figure you could adapt the same/similar system. I personally think it's awesome that they have done that at NS. Been waiting for it. And SAU is getting that busy now that it needs it too.

Cheers

Chris

    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
