Mick
Hey in thinkin of gettin a xenon h1 conversion kit and i was wondering what would be the best colour to get. Now i want blue, but ive checked a few different pages in google about it and some say the 6000k for instance is crystal white, and some say its blue white, and some say its aqua blue, they just all contradict eachother, so im pretty sure i want either a 6000k, 8000k or 10000k So does anyone know more about this ? Omurru
6000k is white, 8000k has a blue tinge, 10000k is blue, 12000k is like omg crazy purple headlights I does vary a little between brands but in general it goes like that. If it's a daily driven car or you actually want to be able to see something with your headlights i'd stick with the 6000k ones. adam-__-
I own 6000K globes in my car and I can say that it's got a blue tinge to it. If you want white light, go for 4300K. If you want blue, go 6000K. If you want stupid blue, go 8000K+ If I were to purchase an hid kit again, I'd go 4300K. I don't like the blue personally. R34NRG
6000k is not white, and is actually illegal. 4300k is white 6000k is blue tinge 8000k is more blue 10000k starts to go purple. unfortunately 4300k is the only legal color due to vic roads requireing all froward facing lights to be white (excludes indicators) each company is diff like the other guy said so yeh....... ive got the 8000k ones and look insane, but visibility wise, i would go for the 4300k Edited August 17, 2007 by R34NRG Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/180878-xenon-colour/#findComment-3293647 Share on other sites
