Since getting my new button clutch I have found that a blip of the throttle on down shifting is MUCH nicer on the clutch. If I don't give the throttle a blip and I'm trying not to compression lockup (i.e. slip it a little) I can feel the clutch skip and it generally doesn't feel nice at all. I kinda of feel like a fool driving around giving it a rev in between each downshift but it is certainly much kinder to the clutch :)

heel toe is good if used in the right manner, little old grannys in honda jazzes wouldnt exactly be going fast enough to warrant heel toeing.

you never know.....

what about the granny that i saw (white hair and all) in a maserati convertible.......... the wind in her white hair and all......she probably does a lot of heel-toe around town when shes trying to open a can of whoop-ass on the other drivers :domokun:
