Late reply to this, i tried to send a warning asap, friend of mine in his 33 gtr got pulled through then sent me a msg so Luke n i sent it out to close to 20 people to warn them. Least i could do.. sucks that like 20 seconds after i got the msg.. kye and lauren rang to give me the bad news :)

another later reply to his

saturday night i dropped the missus and her friend off in hindley st ( dinner ) and as i drove towards king william st, i noticed near the police station , that all the cop cars were parked on the footpath and that they had pulled over about 6 cars and inspecting them

saw two vl commodores, a poor chap in an EXA get a defect sticker, a silvia and a wrx and a commodore ute

they were friendly as too us lol

when i was getting defected the cop was friendly but out of nowhere he said i'm going to be booking a time with regency! made me think i was going to the cop shop the bastard

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
