Might try and take my sisters 300zx, its just an auto but still would be better than an open wheeling mustang.

Dont think i want to weld it up as i know it will break fairly quick and as its currently my daily driver.

have to wait and see.

Shame about the clutch :( Most of the skidpan will be in 2nd gear when you get used to it, when your learning mostly 1st gear.

1 spot still open 5 days till skidpan !

YeahI know, but the clutch is goone, I'll bring it anyway as I just bought some Potena re050 for the front andI want to see how they will turn in for the motorkhna the next weekend

1 spot still available to make 10, but you need to ring dereck at www.fifthgear.com.au to book in. No point transferring it to me at this stage, price is 99$

You guys looked to have heaps of fun out there in the morning! Was great meeting you guys.

The afternoon session absolutely rocked! The car is absolutely covered head to toe in muddy stained thick 'water'. Hopefully one of the staff at my work will wash it for me...

It was unfortunate that I didn't see any of my mates with video camera's like you guys had, so I don't know how it looked, but it felt insane.

No probs. Had a great time and was good to catch up with everyone again. Dirtiest I think my cars been after the skidpan lol. Given it a wash once so far, now to clean all the out of the way places lol. Took a few pics myself, will see if I can post em up later. Good that you guys had fun in the afternoon too.

    • I think he was only proposing to use the wire, not the sender. Simply because it runs from the right place to the right place. Personally, I wouldn't hack up the factory wiring like that. I'd just lay in the Defi loom.
    • From memory it wasn't too hard to simply see which wire ran where when you plug that in. Unfortunately also from memory the OEM sender does not use the same configuration 99.9% of gauges run. So in other words if you connect the signal wire that was running to the OEM gauge to your DEFI gauge you might find your oil reads at 200C or some other incorrect value. I remember having the same line of thought and then running new wires/senders to match the gauges I have. The pinout is available in the R34 workshop manual.
    • Does anyone on here know which wire on the GTT triple gauge pod harness is for the oil temp gauge? my sensor works fine but I upgraded the gauges to DEFI advance. And if I can simply piggyback off the oem oil temp wire to the Defi oil temp sensor wire that would make life so much easier.
    • Even face her a wash now that’s it worth more than my house
    • This was what I was invisioning, or Pete cutting a beer can up and hose clamping it around the catch can! Ha ha ha
