Hey guys, I know this is a very open question - but I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on the performance of the T70 Turbo? I'm at the stage where if I wanna do anything further to my car it should be the turbo - but I don't want to go to big. I'm looking at one for $400...

going off your details on the left it says you have a r32 gts-t.. a t70 turbo on a rb20 would be nothing short of useless.

Righto.. So the general opinion is a no go - but mainly based on it being cheap - not on experience. Not for an RB20 - your referring to lag? or something utterly different? 2GU UP was the guy using on the RB20DET? I think we're talking bout the same turbo here :whistling:

yeah im referring to lag. The turbo is far to big for your application even if it wasnt a cheap poorly made turbo it would still be useless for an rb20. And as 2GU UP just said the T70 was used on a rb30det

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
