Sounds good man, should make some good power.

Have you upgraded the clutch and gone to a FMIC?

Who are you going to get to tune it, and what sort of power you going for?

Should be able to hit 260rwkw if all goes well.

not sure mate,

I havent seen any other rb25's with this type of turbo, hopefully 260 but i just want a good power figure with not much lag..

Otherwise i would've gone with a GT35/40 they make really good power but they have to much lag.

I am pretty sure there is a guy on the forums running a 3071 and making 300rwkw on a internally stock RB25.

1995 R33 Skyline - Series 1.5

Hybrid front mount

Power FC

Walbro fuel pump

Gt3071 interal gate with ground out R33 rear housing

Splitfire coilpacks

3" turbo back exhaust

Greddy profec spec 2 boost controller

Custom intake with pod filter

Stock afm

Stock injectors

Stock plenum

Stock exhaust manifold (except for a bit of porting done by myself)

Pretty safe tune by Mercury Motorsport

Made 234kw atw at 15psi on BP Ultimate

Full boost was seen at 3200rpm with no boost drop off at 7000rpm :yucky:

check access autoworks in trade placem vermont... should have a PFC,or they can order one in. they are the only australian apexi distributor

you got there number??

cause id rather the power fc..

i dunno if they can order them in because they dont make em anymore..

Hi mate I've just had the same turbo installed on my RB25 plus a bit extra of course

It's stock internals but everything else except the plenum is modified and it goes in to tune hopefully this week.

I'll let you know what power figure it makes, good luck with your car.

Hey brad is the 3071r going onto the standard low manifold?

I'm looking into turbo's atm as well.

well turbo has changed read as in first post, this one has a tad more power..

Im going low mount at this stage, because high will just get me into trouble. Be good for show but yeh you understand.

Im just going with advice from experts, like a said a gt35/40r(300kw and more) from what ive heard, would've been nice and made a buckert load of power but lag and prob wrecking my engine lol..

anyways things are now in action, will be finished shortly

P.S adam is teh gay.

i dont want another 50rwkw and ill get that if i add neons..

my stripe is gone too :P

    • Thanks Mate, I did know you could do that but i know there is a pump out there that you can bolt on and it all lines up. I was told about it and then forgot the model, I figure if i am pulling it apart i will just put a new one on
    • You can also remove the veins from the HICAS portion of your existing pump.
    • Trying to swap the rear subframe on my R34 and can't remove the L-shaped stay brackets between the front subframe mounts and the sill/chassis. I'm in the UK so rust is a problem. I've used loads of WD40 and then Tunap 103 for days beforehand. I backed off the bolts forward a bit, backward a bit repeatedly for ages to try and avoid snapping. They have all moved a few full turns. The one I've spent most time on has come loose and I can turn with fingers, and it will pull down and push up 2-3mm. But it won't come out. I can tighten it back up and loosen it off again repeatedly but it still won't come out. I assumed there's a captive nut inside but if that's broken loose then I can't understand why I can always tighten the bolt back up - I'd expect it to just spin both ways. Any ideas what's happening here? I can't visualise what's inside there to cause this.
