i want to go away for a weekend but i cant afford anything too flashy, but i would still like to go somewhere nice.

can anyone recommend anywhere?

i dont mind if its north of perth or south of perth... i dont want it to be tooooo far away, but far enough out of perth so i feel im not in perth anymore, if you know what i mean...

if u have the entertainment book, and mandurah is far enough, so go seashells by the marina in mandurah. its like $190 a nite, but sumfing liek 25% off wif the book.

thou..(no offense to mandurah people) theres not much to do there...

if ur willing to drive to dunsborough, bunker bay is a great place...but thats like $200 sumfing a nite..

There is a multitude of little B&B's and chalets for rent all over the great southern. Some of the caravan parks have little permenant vans there for rent for bugger all if you want to go that way. Personally im always up for going bush so its always just the fuel costs.

have a googling see what you find. aka no real suggestions here im either staying with friends down south or driving 5000ks when i go out of town :D

surprised no one mentioned rottnest! there is a fair bit of stuff to see and do accommodation is cheap depending on the season and if the weather is good there are so many nice beach spots and surf is also a PLUS :D and it is only one gnarlly boat trip for like 30 mins away :glare:

When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
